God quality and powerful LED lighting and the best bit is the price! Even for the largest 1000mm long LED light unit, they will only be £79.99 !! They are even fully submersible! We don’t think there are any other aquatic LED lights on the market for this price!

Authorised Hugo Kamishi Dealer

Aquahome are now an authorised Hugo Kamishi Dealer and stock a huge range of these fantastic artificial plants. We have set some realistic looking fully planted tanks up ourselves and they have people fooled into thinking they are fully planted CO2 aquariums. We have a huge range of plastic or silk plants in this range and the prices are fantastic. Very reasonable for such great quality. Why not go for a combination of live and artificial plants in your aquarium for easier maintenance but still a nice colourful and lush planted aquarium.

Red Sea Max S series 400 Progress August 2013

The S Series 400 display aquarium at Aquahome Aquatics is coming along nicely. We Aquascaped the aquarium with 40 kg of quality Fiji live rock, 10 kg of relic rock and 10 kg of TMC coral sand that we currently stock at Aquahome aquatics centre and filled the aquarium with ready mixed RO salt water . We let the system run for a day to make sure everything was running fine with the chiller and all of the equipment in the sump. This system was then left to cycle for seven days before hardy soft corals were introduced and two weeks before the first critters were introduced.. We then added some hardy fish, which help with the cycling process. You can see a complete list below of the complete inhabitants up-to-date as of 22 August 2013.

We think this aquarium is amazing quality and really shows off the inhabitants excellently. Don’t take our word for it! If you’re passing by the Aquahome Aquatics Centre in Leyland, Preston come and take a look for yourselves. We will be doing regular updates on the progress and maintenance of this great aquarium.
