At Aquahome Aquatic Centre we cater for everyone from the beginner to the enthusiast. We have everything you need under one roof and provide everything from outdoor pond fish, indoor tropical fish and aquariums, coldwater fish through to marine fish and corals and all related aquarium accessories.
Our extensive range of tropical fish includes tetras, barbs, loaches, angels, African cichlids and sharks whilst in our pond fish section you will find fish such as shubunkins, koi, sarasa comets, tench, orfe, sturgeons and, of course, numerous varieties of goldfish too.
As well as our large range of fish we have a great selection of marine critters spread over 50 plus tanks. These include shrimps, scallops, snails, seahares, slugs, crabs, clams, urchins, lobster and starfish.
Aquahome Aquatic Centre was voted the number one shop in the North West of England in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 - 8 years running. Aquahome also won number one Retailer of the Year in the UK in the Practical Fishkeeping Readers Poll 2014, as well as the runner up Number one retailer of the year 2019! so we are well worth the visit. We have regular livestock deliveries from all over the world so we always have new stock available and with our own onsite dedicated quarantine facility you can rest assured you are purchasing quality livestock for your ponds and aquariums.

Aquahome is based within Avant Gardens, Garden Centre which is located just off the M6 Junction 28 (please click here for directions). Avant Gardens is a large garden centre and on site is also a café selling hot food and drink as well as all usual Garden Centre related products so bring the family. Parking is free and close proximity to the motorway and we have full disable access available.
